This job is intended for a physician to work with the Elder Care team in caring for Kaiser Permanente (KP) Georgia members 65 and older and those with Medicare needing special expertise of the team; the primary focus is on outpatient care, providing assessments, treatment, and recommendations for members with conditions common in older patients such as memory loss and falls. The physician will work closely with Geriatric RN Care Coordinator, Geriatrics and Palliative Care Clinical Pharmacist, and Geriatric Social Worker. Visits with patients will primarily occur in KP medical offices as face to face, virtual or telephonic visits. Complementing the Primary Care Physician (PCP), the physician in this position will treat and/or recommend care for patients' medical problems and chronic illnesses with emphasis on patients’ quality of life and functional ability, including addressing home safety and counseling on end-of-life care and other topics as appropriate. This position is par-time, 20 hours/week and based at our Kaiser Permanente Sandy Springs Medical Office. Northwell Health Cardiology , the largest provider of cardiovascular care in New York, is seeking a Vice Chair to join us at Northern Westchester Hospital and Phelps Hospital . Northwell Cardiology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years across Long Island, New York City, and Westchester with the goal of providing comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness services. As we continue to expand our cardiovascular health services, we are seeking a dynamic, board-certified cardiologist, with directorship or chief experience, to join our team at Northern Westchester Hospital and Phelps Hospital as the Vice Chair of Cardiology. In this unique role, the Vice Chair will support the Chair of Cardiology and lead the clinical services provided within the Department of Cardiology across both campuses, including inpatient and consultative cardiology services, ambulatory cardiology, cardiac imaging including CCTA/CMRI, cardiac rehabilitation, advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology. Responsibilities include: Performs direct patient care activities, providing both hospital and ambulatory clinical services. Provide clinical leadership and expertise within the clinical cardiology team, overseeing hospital-based and ambulatory cardiology services. Ensure the productivity of physician faculty and identify and develop new clinical programs consistent with market opportunity, patient need and financial feasibility. Work with the Administration to meet the Hospital, Service Line and System goals for patient and employee satisfaction. Ensure the quality of clinical services provided by the Department of Cardiology.
