The department of OB/GYN provides full scope obstetric and gynecologic care through a collaborative integrated service model working with OB/GYN physicians, subspecialists, Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM), and Family Medicine physicians. We deliver over 4,000 patients per year, which is nearly a third of all births in the city of Denver. The GYN service provides comprehensive care performing over 1,300 inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures per year. We serve a diverse patient population where most of our patients identify as Hispanic/Latina, and our patients speak over 23 different languages. Schedule and clinical responsibilities: A full-time physician will have a monthly schedule of 12-14 clinical shifts where a shift lasts 10 hours (7am 5pm) or 14 hours (5pm 7am). The shifts are a mix of day and night shifts with emphasis on night shift coverage. Scheduling can be as flexible or set, other factors permitting, as desired.
