Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health concerns, strengths, and resource availability, ensuring a holistic approach to their wellbeing. \n Provide individual, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed therapy, and solution-focused therapy. \n Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include specific goals and interventions tailored to each student’s unique situation. \n Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and other mental health professionals to create a cohesive support system for students. \n Offer crisis intervention and risk assessment services, ensuring immediate safety and stabilization of students facing acute emotional distress. \n Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all client interactions and interventions, adhering to the highest ethical and legal standards. \n Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes, empowering students to learn coping strategies and resilience. \n Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on the latest therapeutic approaches. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your primary focus will be on students from diverse backgrounds, ranging in age from elementary through high school. Many of these students struggle with various mental health challenges that impact their educational experience, their relationships with peers and family, and their overall quality of life. As such, your expertise will play an essential role in promoting emotional resilience and providing support in overcoming barriers to learning. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required. \n Active Washington state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) . \n A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health or outpatient settings is necessary. \n Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and approaches is crucial. \n Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment capabilities to effectively engage with students and families. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience working within educational systems or school-based mental health settings is highly desirable. \n Previous involvement with community outreach programs or initiatives addressing youth mental health will be considered an advantage. \n Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and crisis intervention strategies is preferred. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
