Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, utilizing diagnostic tools and structured interviews. \n Create personalized therapy and treatment plans that reflect clients’ unique circumstances and objectives, ensuring alignment with evidence-based therapeutic practices. \n Facilitate individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions using various established methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques. \n Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to support integrated care plans, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client outcomes. \n Document all client interactions and treatment progress in our electronic health record (EHR) system promptly and in compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. \n Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay updated on best practices and advancements in the mental health field. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your work will primarily focus on a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship issues. By providing tailored interventions, you will help clients develop effective coping strategies, foster resilience, and achieve personal goals. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. \n Current and valid license to practice as a mental health counselor in New York State (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT). \n Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting, with proven skills in delivering therapy. \n Strong ethical and legal understanding of clinical practices and standards. \n Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities and relationship-building competency essential for effective counseling. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience working with specific populations such as trauma survivors, individuals with substance use disorders, and families facing complex dynamics. \n Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and proficiency in utilizing technology for service delivery. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
