Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional health, utilizing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools. \n Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client assessment results and collaborative discussions with clients. \n Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions addressing a variety of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. \n Facilitate couples therapy sessions to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and foster emotional intimacy among partners. \n Regularly monitor therapy progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans in alignment with evolving client needs. \n Maintain meticulous client documentation, including progress notes and treatment records, in accordance with legal and ethical standards. \n Provide crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, ensuring a supportive and safe environment during emergencies. \n Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring holistic care through ongoing communication with other healthcare professionals. \n Stay abreast of the latest research and modalities in marriage and family therapy, integrating best practices into your work. \n Participate in continual professional development and training activities to enhance your therapeutic skills and foster personal growth. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n This role offers you the opportunity to work with a diverse client population, including teens looking for support during challenging life phases, adults managing complex emotional health issues, and couples aiming to strengthen their relationships. Your expertise will empower clients to navigate their mental health journeys, improving their overall well-being and enhancing their interpersonal relationships. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related discipline. \n Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of New Jersey. \n Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and couples therapy. \n Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of practice. \n Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience working with a diverse range of clients, particularly children and families. \n Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms. \n Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining quality of care. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
