Key Responsibilities\n In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will: \n \n Conduct initial assessments for new clients, identifying their mental health needs and developing individualized treatment plans. \n Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to each client's unique circumstances. \n Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in alignment with legal and ethical standards, using our electronic health record system, which allows for streamlined documentation and billing processes. \n Engage in regular supervision and peer consultation to enhance clinical skills, share insights, and improve client outcomes. \n Promote community outreach initiatives by hosting virtual workshops and information sessions aimed at educating the public on mental health topics. \n Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to coordinate care for clients requiring psychopharmacological interventions. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Our clientele includes individuals across various demographics, each seeking support for challenges such as mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. Many clients experience socioeconomic challenges and require culturally competent counseling that acknowledges their unique backgrounds.
