Key Responsibilities\n Your day-to-day activities will reflect the dynamic nature of mental health therapy, including but not limited to: \n \n Conducting thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health challenges and formulating individualized treatment plans that promote effective interventions. \n Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods to deliver comprehensive therapy services to individuals and groups, integrating modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices. \n Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care tailored to each client's needs. \n Providing immediate crisis intervention and support during acute periods of distress, employing your training and empathy to navigate challenging situations. \n Participating in community outreach initiatives designed to increase mental health awareness and reduce stigma, thereby advocating for the importance of mental well-being. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Our clients include individuals of all ages facing a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral challenges. By working with diverse populations, including underrepresented communities, you will enhance your clinical skills while promoting culturally competent care. Qualifications\n To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications: \n \n Possession of an independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n A master's or doctoral degree in relevant fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. \n Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish rapport and build therapeutic alliances with clients from varied backgrounds. \n Demonstrable cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups. \n Strong organizational and time-management skills, ensuring that your documentation and reporting are both accurate and timely. \n Preferred Experience\n Experience in telehealth settings is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation. Additionally, a background in community outreach or preventative mental health work will set candidates apart.
