Job Description: Quality Control Tech Perform specific duties and responsibilities based on standard operating procedures, good laboratory practices, good manufacturing practices to ensure the consistency and quality of our products. Perform quality control analysis of finished goods, and other materials as required. Is knowledgeable of scientific instrumentation techniques. Follow laboratory standard operating procedures; attention to detail is essential. Complete and maintain all required documentation for procedures, recording work and results. Monitor and ensures compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures. Perform basic and routine analytical on tank samples, finished goods to verify accurate results and consistencies. Procure all supplies needed to perform required duties. Notify lead/supervisor of any issues or needs. Keep other personnel informed as to the status of analysis, lab supplies and equipment usages. Assist with departmental needs and vacancies. Work an 8-Hour, 10-Hour or 12-Hour shifts or required necessary hours to meet business requirements. Able to follow all QC Department’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’S) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other policies and procedures established by company. Takes initiative to make sound decisions in their work, communicate with operator/line lead of any adjustments that need to be made to bring quality back into specifications. Ensures all tasks for finalization of controlled documents are completed and saved on share drive for easy access. Make a positive contribution to achieving departmental performance targets for safety, product quality and throughput by operating within specified procedures. Ensure that all bottling line documents are completed accurately prior to the day of production. Involve daily communication with management, Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse, and all employees necessary in the operations process. Visually inspect products and or operations to ensure quality of products and or work. Safety Awareness, Identify and correct conditions that effect employee safety, uphold safety standards. Notify supervisor of any unsafe conditions. Ensuring compliance to product safety procedures. Report and take corrective actions for product safety and incidents within specified limits. Read, understand, and comply with the SDS sheets. May be asked to perform other duties that are not listed on this job description. Job Description Job Description Job Summary The Quality Metrology Technician I is responsible for performing dimensional inspections, basic quality testing, and measurement activities to verify that parts and products meet established engineering, customer, and quality requirements. This position supports the Quality and Production teams through the use and control of gauges, measurement devices, and other quality testing equipment. The technician will operate and assist with various inspection and testing equipment, including but not limited to CMMs, X-ray equipment, cleanliness testing equipment, spectrometers, and other metrology and quality testing devices , following established procedures and appropriate training. Key Responsibilities Perform dimensional inspections of parts, components, and products according to engineering drawings, specifications, control plans, and work instructions. Use and maintain basic precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, and other gauges and measurement devices. Assist with the control, organization, identification, and proper storage of gauges and measurement devices . Support the company's gauge and measurement device control system, including identifying equipment that is due for calibration or requires maintenance. Assist with maintaining calibration records and ensuring inspection equipment is properly labeled and available for use. Operate metrology and quality testing equipment, as trained and authorized, including but not limited to: Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) X-ray equipment Cleanliness testing equipment Spectrometers Other quality testing and measurement devices Perform first-piece, in-process, final, and incoming inspections as required. Minutes later, a hydraulic leak and an electrical fault compete for attention—you methodically isolate the issues, repair them, and keep production moving. If this sounds like your kind of challenge, read on. Role Mission Own equipment setup across multiple assembly machines to ensure quality output. Maintain and repair plant structures and systems including electrical, heating, plumbing, machine repair, and hydraulics. Troubleshoot and fix production equipment; execute preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime. Apply statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend analysis to make targeted process or equipment adjustments that bring parts into specification. Perform machining and bench operations to alter or repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges, and guarding. Tackle other duties as assigned to support safe, efficient operations. Your Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent education/experience. 1.5 years of technical experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Intermediate troubleshooting proficiency across electromechanical and hydraulic domains. Computer skills for documentation and data analysis. Team-oriented with solid interpersonal and communication abilities. Forklift certification required; confident operating a forklift. Fluent in English and in the primary language used in your area or location.
