Job Description Job Description Full Time Field Technician specializing in preventative maintenance of medical ice machines and refrigeration. This position is for a mobile technician in the NJ, NY and Eastern PA region. The primary work focus will be on medical ice machine equipment, medical and vaccine refrigeration and Installations. Work includes Cleaning and Sanitizing, Diagnostics, Repair, Preventative Maintenance and Installations. Applicants should be able to read a wiring diagram, be mechanically adept, communicate well with others and be capable of working independently. Applicants should be able to troubleshoot electrical components & refrigeration systems, diagnose problems and make repairs. Company vehicles are provided so a clean driving record is essential. Training is provided in house, in the field and from the manufactures. Some refrigeration experience is preferable although not required. A typical day consists of travel to customer site(s), working on their equipment, completing job reports and submitting to office for invoicing. Standard work hours are 6am to 2:30pm M-F. Overtime and Weekend Work is also available and will occasionally be mandatory. Basic Qualifications Include: Universal EPA 608, Type I & II for servicing appliances (Not required but preferred) Applicants must be able to read and write to communicate in English with customers, suppliers and coworkers.
