Position Overview The RN Clinical Manager – Home Health works under the direction and guidance of the Executive Director to provide supervision of all clinical staff working with high medical acuity clients and/or clients receiving extended non‐licensed support services. This leader is responsible to provide staff orientation and ensure competence as a Preceptor and or ensure RN Case Manager/Preceptor resources are in place. Ensures that services are delivered according to licensing guidelines, professional medical standards and agency policies and procedures. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. Job Description Description \n \n Summary: \n Provides care under supervision of physician or registered nurses for clinic patients, according to established standards and practices. Performs various lab procedures when necessary and in accordance with competency. \n Responsibilities: \n \n Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. \n Under the direction of the physician; performs basic patient care duties including, but not limited to, obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting specimens [including phlebotomy (specific to site). Assists provider(s) in examination and treatment of patients and with procedures. Assist with patient flow through the clinic. \n Answers phone/records phone messages, and assists provider(s) with patient related calls. \n Assists in scheduling test appointment, results and pre-certification. \n Documents any information related to patient. \n Assists provider(s) with medication refills. \n Administers medications/immunizations according to provider order. \n Cleans and restocks exam rooms. Cleans equipment in accordance with policy.
