We are the states only Level One Trauma Emergency Department, only academic medical center, and the state's largest academic teaching hospital. We have a separate Emergency Department dedicated to serve our Pediatric population. We are dedicated to providing urgent and emergent care to the people of Bernalillo County and more broadly, the entirety of the State of New Mexico and parts of Texas, Colorado, Arizona, and the First Nations. Department: Emergency Department FTE: 0.90 Full Time Shift: Days & Nights Position Summary: Work within the nursing process to provide direct nursing care to assigned patients consistent with clinical specialty (PCU/ICU/ED etc.), independent of patient location. Serve as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. Minimum work requirement for RN Per Diem I is two shifts per schedule. One weekend shift per schedule and one summer and one winter holiday are required.
