Proof of venipuncture certification is required. Venipuncture competency must also be demonstrated and documented by the supervisor or his/her proxy within thirty (30) days of hire or transfer into position. 7. Recent experience in CT is required, experience in an acute care setting is preferred. 8. Ability to operate all CT equipment and perform all CT examinations independently (e.g., be able to protocol them or work in conjunction with the radiologist) is required. 9. Must be seen as a resource throughout SAMC and be willing to actively participate on Hospital/Department committees as assigned. 10. Ability to relate in a professional manner to patients, physicians, the public and other health care providers and demonstrate excellent customer service orientation is required.
