About the Role As an Electrical Superintendent at Z Modular Power, a division of Zekelman Industries, you will lead field execution for mid- to large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects across Arizona. This role is responsible for supervising electrical crews, coordinating with project teams and trade partners, and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, contractors, and cross-functional teams to drive productivity, maintain safety, and deliver complex electrical installations from project start-up through closeout. This is a full-time, onsite field role supporting projects across Arizona. This role is ideal for a seasoned electrical leader who thrives in a hands-on construction environment, enjoys leading teams in the field, and takes ownership of delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes. What You’ll Do Lead and supervise all on-site electrical construction activities across assigned projects. Direct and support Foremen, Journeymen, Apprentices, and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient installations. Plan and coordinate daily and long-term work activities, including labor allocation and resource management. Oversee installation of electrical systems including switchgear, feeders, generators, motors, controls, lighting, and power distribution. Collaborate with Project Managers on schedules, manpower planning, estimates, and change orders. Coordinate with general contractors and other trades to manage sequencing, logistics, and site operations. Enforce safety policies, OSHA standards, and NEC requirements while promoting a safety-first culture. Lead safety meetings, ensure proper PPE usage, and monitor jobsite compliance. Monitor work quality and ensure alignment with drawings, specifications, and company standards. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide real-time solutions in the field. Mentor and develop field personnel, including Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices. Monitor crew productivity and provide coaching and performance feedback. Manage field documentation including daily reports, timekeeping, progress logs, and as-built drawings. Coordinate material deliveries and ensure availability to support project timelines. Support project start-up, progress reviews, and closeout activities including punch list completion. Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy. Perform other duties as assigned. Who You Are 10 years of experience in electrical construction, including commercial or industrial projects. 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role. Journeyman Electrician license required; Master Electrician or equivalent certification preferred. Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA regulations, and electrical construction best practices. Experience managing projects from planning through closeout. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Experience with job costing, labor forecasting, scheduling, and coordination across trades. Comfort using field technology such as tablets, smartphones, and construction management software. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-driven environment and manage multiple priorities. Authorization to work in the United States.
