Job Description Job Description A&A Concrete Supply is looking to hire FULL TIME Diesel Technicians level 3. As a valued member of our team, the Maintenance Truck Tech III is required to perform all duties of the level 1 and level 2 technician. In addition, should show proficiency one of the two mayor skill level categories and about 60% proficiency in another category. Category 1 includes internal repairs on engines, transmissions, and gear boxes. Category 2 includes electronic control modules and sensors complex electrical and after treatment repairs Pay Range · Tech III: $34-$41 Travel Required: Estimated less than 25% Benefits · Paid Holidays · Paid Vacation · Medical, Dental, Vision · 401k Retirement · $100 credit for boots after 90 days · Uniforms provided · Tool allowance when applicable · Monthly credit for cellphone use Responsibilities Appropriate tools required to diagnose, perform mayor repairs in vehicles and to effectively do inspections and routine preventive services. Able to use compressed gas torch and adjustments. Effectively do inspections and mechanical repairs to equipment and routine preventive services. Efficient communication and computer skills for proper file documentation on each job performed. Knowledge and ability to identify the proper name of all visible parts and non-visible parts in a vehicle. Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in all maintenance. Ensures vehicles meet CHP/BIT/PM inspection requirements. Will maintain appropriate record keeping for Bit inspections, DVIRs, work done description and work orders. Replace, install and service brake systems, cab and sheet metal components, engine accessories, HVAC systems, hydraulic systems, and lighting electrical systems. Replace, install and service mixer truck equipment, product transfer systems, starting systems, steering systems, transmissions, wheels, hubs and bearings. Replace, install frame components and basic diagnose of electronic control systems. Replace, install, service and diagnose charging systems, clutches and drive lines, and suspensions systems. Will inspect and identify vehicle conditions on different types of equipment such as tractors, trailers, or mixers. Will install, select, or identify proper tire replacements & legal limit knowledge. Diagnose and repair vehicle system engine failure and vehicle system transmission & gear box failure. Follow manufacture service and troubleshooting procedures, diagnose and repair vehicle system. Diagnose and repair vehicle Aftertreatment systems, Advance Electrical systems, Air brake system and brake valve diagnose. Diagnose and repair vehicle Hydraulic system failure. Diagnose and repair HVAC failure diagnose. Complete all maintenance duties as assigned, and repair all equipment on property including, but not limited to, diesel, plant, or yard equipment. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to keep vehicles and equipment in compliance with DOT and company standards. Minimum Education and Experience High school diploma. 4 years of heavy-duty tractor maintenance experience. 4 years experience of work on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Must have own tools. Preferred Education and Experience Associates degree, technical school certificate or equivalent experience. 5 years of heavy-duty tractor maintenance experience. 5 years experience of work on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. 3 years experience welding.
