Job Description Job Description FLOOR OPERATOR POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY The Aux Operator assists in the safe and efficient operation of the power plant and the supporting equipment and systems. The AO carries out all routine water/fuel chemistry analyses, inspects and monitors operating components, and reports plant status. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS Work as assigned by the Control Room Operator (CRO), Plant/Mechanical Manager, and others as necessary by the company. Assist with operations of all equipment and monitor operational parameters, ensuring reliably and continuous operability of equipment. Operate and maintain a wide variety of power plant equipment. Maintain operation of the chemical pumping system, ensuring optimal chemistry control and equipment reliability. Assist with maintenance activities, including mechanical work, instrumentation, and electrical repair. Perform or assist with preventive maintenance actions. Perform or assist with planned maintenance and routine repairs to damaged or malfunctioning equipment. Workaround and repair rotating equipment, chemical systems, and water processing equipment. Perform or assist with chemical/fuel handling (loading and unloading material). Perform emergency operations and maintenance for production and safeguard facility equipment. Obtain direction from other team members as deemed necessary. Actively support the Maintenance Team in executing maintenance plans by providing support (Lockout/Tagout), equipment identification, troubleshooting, work request preparation, or other areas. The position requires extended working hours and varied shifts with weekend and holiday work, as required by schedules, workload, and plant conditions. "On-call" status will periodically be required. All employees will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program. This program includes a post-offer physical examination and drug screening, and post-employment random drug screening. There are extensive smoking restrictions in and around the facility. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Ability to understand procedures and instructions specific to the area of assignment Experience working with high-pressure turbines and gas-fired boilers and familiarity with associated equipment is desired. Strong aptitude in math, mechanical/electrical, and chemical handling requirements is required. Ability to gain theoretical and practical knowledge of boiler/ turbine operations, industrial safety, hazardous waste management, and inspection/recording of plant parameters is highly desirable. Experience with piping and instrument schematics and process controls desirable but not required. Mechanical, instrumentation and electrical equipment knowledge is desired but not required. Valid driver's license required East Energy will provide paid, on-the-job training for this position. Those meeting the above descriptions will be considered highly qualified candidates. Successful candidates will be promoted to Floor Operator after meeting requirements and a probationary period.

POSITION SUMMARY Operates and monitors the extrusion process, which is an integral procedure in the manufacturing of dried, formed products. Those products are supplied to the kiln area where they are fired in kilns, in which ceramic products are produced that meet the required specifications & quality standards. II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (The section is not intended to be an all-inclusive list and NGK Ceramics reserves the right to include other duties as assigned) : Completes the GHCM (Green Honeycomb Cutting Machine) touch pad set-up; checks/resets the batch, work count, and total count settings located on the weigh batch indicator; and records the settings on the Continuous Extrusion Activities Log Sheet. Performs established power-up/start-up procedures according to the work instructions. Checks the temperature of the formed product once per batch with a digital thermometer. Obtains a relay sample once the material through the die is stable; and measures on the optibel. Removes and cleans machine components such as dies, masking plates, spacers, etc.; and cleans belt feeder and work area, as required. Enters process data into the company’s information systems. Maintains the extruder information board with data gathered from the die travel ticket and from the actual tooling in use. Removes and tags any formed material exhibiting contamination; and moves material to the confinement area Collects ao into designated totes, following established procedures for collecting, packing and palletizing. Performs necessary change-over procedures according to established work instructions. Records all die adjustments during a production run onto the Die Adjustment Sheet. L. Works safely by avoiding forklifts; staying clear of forklift doors; using personnel doors when entering or exiting the buildings; and safely using overhead hoists. M. Participates in PM (Preventive Maintenance), MMOL (Machine Maintenance Operator Leader), and G5S (Global 5S: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) activities as needed N. What You Do Operate Gerber automated cutting systems to cut upholstery fabrics and materials according to work orders and digital markers. Load and position fabric and materials to ensure efficient, accurate cutting. Review patterns, markers, and layouts to verify proper setup before cutting. Monitor machine operation and adjust settings to meet product specifications. Inspect materials and finished components to ensure compliance with quality standards. Cut multiple layers of fabric into components such as cushions, pillows, seats, arms, and backs. Prepare and stage materials, confirming correct alignment and orientation prior to cutting. Job Description Job Description FLOOR OPERATOR POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY The Aux Operator assists in the safe and efficient operation of the power plant and the supporting equipment and systems. The AO carries out all routine water/fuel chemistry analyses, inspects and monitors operating components, and reports plant status. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS Work as assigned by the Control Room Operator (CRO), Plant/Mechanical Manager, and others as necessary by the company. Assist with operations of all equipment and monitor operational parameters, ensuring reliably and continuous operability of equipment. Operate and maintain a wide variety of power plant equipment. Maintain operation of the chemical pumping system, ensuring optimal chemistry control and equipment reliability. Assist with maintenance activities, including mechanical work, instrumentation, and electrical repair. Perform or assist with preventive maintenance actions. Perform or assist with planned maintenance and routine repairs to damaged or malfunctioning equipment. Workaround and repair rotating equipment, chemical systems, and water processing equipment. Perform or assist with chemical/fuel handling (loading and unloading material). Perform emergency operations and maintenance for production and safeguard facility equipment. Obtain direction from other team members as deemed necessary. Actively support the Maintenance Team in executing maintenance plans by providing support (Lockout/Tagout), equipment identification, troubleshooting, work request preparation, or other areas. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Ability to understand procedures and instructions specific to the area of assignment Experience working with high-pressure turbines and gas-fired boilers and familiarity with associated equipment is desired. Strong aptitude in math, mechanical/electrical, and chemical handling requirements is required. Ability to gain theoretical and practical knowledge of boiler/ turbine operations, industrial safety, hazardous waste management, and inspection/recording of plant parameters is highly desirable. Experience with piping and instrument schematics and process controls desirable but not required. Mechanical, instrumentation and electrical equipment knowledge is desired but not required.
