JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen. Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidenced based medicine. Demonstrates competency in the assessment, range or treatment, knowledge of growth and development and communication appropriate to the age of the patient treated. Provide regular, timely, and appropriate communication with referring physicians, patients and their families. Participates in education of patients and their families. Evaluates and implements patient health care needs. Performs routine exams and obtains patient histories. Manages patient treatment program based on assessment of needs. Initiates treatment via prescriptions, diagnostic tests, exams and procedures. Reviews lab results and plans actions according to results.
