About the job: Tapcheck is entering a defining phase of growth: scaling Tapcheck Express, our embedded Earned Wage Access (EWA) platform distributed through payroll, time & attendance, and workforce management systems. The Vice President, Partnerships will build and scale the partner ecosystem that powers this next phase - establishing embedded platform partnerships and building a channel and alliances motion that drives partner-sourced employer pipeline and revenue. This role offers both a remote and hybrid option. Employees located within 30 miles of Plano TX, are required to be in office Tuesday through Thursday each week. If remote, Ideally, candidates will sit in the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, LA, MI, MA, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, PA, OR, OH, RI, SC, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI. What You’ll Do: Define and execute the strategy for Tapcheck’s partner ecosystem, including the platforms that unlock the most scalable distribution Identify, negotiate, and close embedded partnerships with payroll providers, workforce management platforms, time & attendance systems, and vertical SaaS companies Build and scale Tapcheck Express as a partner‑led distribution model, including a repeatable partner launch and growth playbook Lead the channel & alliances motion that generates employer referrals and partner-sourced pipeline into Tapcheck’s direct sales team Own partner economics and monetization models (e.g., revenue share, incentives, commercial terms) that align Tapcheck and partner incentives Drive cross‑functional execution across Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Marketing to deliver successful partner integrations and launches Serve as the internal voice of the partner and influence roadmap decisions and integration priorities Establish partner performance metrics, operating cadence, and executive reporting to track pipeline, revenue, and adoption Build and lead the Partnerships organization over time, including Strategic Partner Development, Channel & Alliances, and Partner Success & Operations What You’ll Bring: 12 years of experience building and scaling partnerships, ecosystems, or platform businesses Proven track record of closing strategic partnerships that drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth Experience building partner programs or platform ecosystems from the ground up (builder mindset) Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams on integrations and platform launches Strong strategic and analytical skills, including comfort structuring partner economics and long‑term distribution models Executive presence with strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional leadership skills Comfort operating in ambiguity and high‑ownership environments; ability to set direction and drive execution Preferred: experience in fintech, payroll/HR tech, workforce management, vertical SaaS, or embedded distribution models At this time, Tapcheck does not provide sponsorship for employment‑based visas (e.g., H‑b, L‑1, TN, etc.).
