Required to provide some direct services during periods of department staff shortages. Structures, implements and facilitates new employee on-the-job orientation as needed. Identify on-going staff training needs and provide training as needed. Monitor counselor maintenance of patient charts for adherence to quality assurance standards and clarity of documentation of patient’s progress in treatment. Facilitate didactic and therapeutic groups and document for each patient in attendance. Oversee case management, referral and referent contact services provided by counselors. Provide direct clinical treatment to assigned patients in a manner which meets quality assurance standards and is clear in its documentation of patient’s progress in treatment. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in social work, psychology, counseling, sociology. Preferred. Three (3) years’ experience working with Substance abuse. Supervisory experience. Two (2) years of social service management experience. Preferred Ability to work independently.
