Job Description Job Description Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, cardiac-focused PCU Independently interpret cardiac rhythms and pass a Dysrhythmia Exam on the first attempt (paper-based, proctored, requiring calipers) Administer and manage common cardiac drips including Insulin, Milrinone, Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Heparin, Lasix, and Nitroglycerin Manage patients with complex cardiac conditions including Heart Failure, A-Fib, Atrial Flutter, SVT, VTach, VFib, FVO, Chest Pain, HTN, Heart Transplant Patients, Congenital Heart Disease, and LVAD Patients Assist with and manage common cardiac procedures such as Right & Left Heart Catheterizations, TR Band Management, Sheath Removal/Management, Stent Placement, Valve Replacement Procedures, STEMI/NSTEMI Care, Pacemakers, ICDs, Cardioversions, Ablations, and Groin Site Management Perform chest tube management Care for patients without ventilators Manage frequent admissions/discharges and significant procedural volume Float to similar cardiac/PCU units as needed Required Qualifications 2 years of experience Registered Nurse (RN) Skills EPIC Cardiac Drips Administration Progressive Care Nursing Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Telemetry Nursing Experience Cardiac Drip Management Chest Tube Management Cardiac Procedure Care LVAD Patient Care Heart Transplant Patient Care Schedule Start date: 2026-12-07 Next Steps Shortlisted candidates will receive an email from [email protected] with instructions to complete a required screening step.
