The Shuttle Driver is responsible for driving a tandem trailer, tractor trailer and/or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes for the purpose of transporting empty trailers to the Operating Company warehouse locations. Turns around and delivers full trailers with various products to domicile/shuttle yard locations in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description: Position Summary: The role of the Fresh Produce Inspector is to ensure the quality of both inbound and inhouse fresh produce items. Visual inspections of produce delivering on the Cooler Dock as well as in house pick slot inspections are paramount to the success of PFG’s Fresh Produce Program. In addition to the inspections, the Fresh Produce QA Inspector works with the Produce CM, Inventory Control, and OPS with the handling of all produce related issues. Daily produce counts on predetermined fresh produce items are completed and numbers are shared with the appropriate National Account Manager as well as the Produce Team. Position Responsibilities: Perform assigned duties efficiently to reduce spoilage; working closely with the cooler Receiving Department on perishable items Communicate and interact with customers (and company personnel) and vendors in a friendly, timely and quality manner; ensure customers' and vendors' questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Determine quality of products returned by customers; work with Returns Clerk on returned produce quality. Daily inspection of produce returns and determining the disposition of product as to putting back in the assigned pick slot or disregard as loss/shrink. Break / repack full cases to small cases.in the most timely and efficient manner as to reduce spoilage and lost inventory. Check for dating issue on designated products on a daily basis. Remove any short dated and bad product from inventory. Keep inventory counts current. Perform other related duties as assigned. Schedule: Saturday to Wednesday 7am - 4pm Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience. 3-12 months’ procurement, warehouse and / or administrative experience in related area. Must be willing to train on pallet jack operation and successfully complete the required certification. Must be able to lift up to 60lbs where applicable. Comfortable working in temperatures between 36 - 55 degrees F for majority of the shift.
