Job Description Job Description:\n\nIndustrial Journeyman Piling Crane Operator Position Summary: Industrial Piling Crane Operators will operate one or more cranes to rig up equipment, move and install piling, falsework, support equipment and other materials from one location to another on heavy construction projects by means of safe crane and rigging practices. They will be responsible for the daily inspection and routine maintenance of equipment and will perform multiple types of lifting and positioning activities required to drive or drill different types of piles using various pieces of equipment in accordance with design drawings, specifications and supervisory instructions. They will also be responsible for overseeing the safety of those working near the crane, verifying loads charts and lift plans, performing equipment and rigging inspections, and possibly assisting with repairs. The position will be expected to assist other crafts in their down times which may include non-operating activities. Qualifications: · Must have current National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) credentials for Lattice Boom and Large and Small Telescopic Cranes. · Must have a current DOT jacks, and pulleys as required · Assembles pile driving leads, connecting hoses, rigging material and equipment · Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies · Will layout, prepare, erect and assemble templates to accurately install piles in a variety of locations • Will operate various pieces of construction dirt equipment to move the earth in precision processes. • for a variety of haul and delivery trucks, equipment and cranes · Installs and sets waler systems, temporary bracing and template systems · Will install and remove sheet pile materials per specifications · Will dismantle, stack and sort temporary materials in a neat and orderly fashion · Must be able to handle and operate small tools (hammers, wrenches, shovels, rakes, come-a-longs, compactors, and various air, electric, and hydraulic power tools) and become proficient. · Will maintain housekeeping and an orderly site as work tasks are performed · Responsible for observing and
