Also assists in the operation of equipment.\n \n WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH \n \n \n Conduct regular visual inspections of weighing, grinding, blending, conveying, kiln, and cooling equipment to ensure proper operation. \n Monitor material flow from raw material storage to mills, silos, kiln, and clinker storage, ensuring continuous and proper movement. \n Operate valves, slides, and gates to control material flow as directed by the Shift Supervisor. \n Measure and report bin, tank, and silo levels to the Shift Supervisor or Control Room Operator as required. \n Assist with preheater tower and kiln inlet scaling and perform minor equipment repairs when needed. \n Support maintenance personnel with equipment repairs and communicate any malfunctions to the Production Supervisor. \n Clean assigned work areas and assist with mixing additives during finish grinding when necessary. \n Start auxiliary motors and ensure all systems are running according to directions from the Control Room Operator. \n Maintain clear communication with incoming and outgoing Production Teams and Supervisors regarding equipment status and operating conditions. \n Operate heavy equipment including wheel loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, forklifts, and manlifts as required. \n \n \n WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR \n \n Education: High School or GED \n \n Additional Requirements : \n \n \n Required to work outside year-round in extreme temperatures (both hot and cold), in dusty environments, confined spaces, and at heights. \n Must be able to work constantly rotating 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required. \n This is a labor-intensive position; candidates must be able to lift 75-100 lbs regularly and pass a physical fit test. \n Ideal candidates have a high mechanical aptitude. \n Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. \n Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
