Local Team Collaboration: Join our team of board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians and APPs at Maria Parham Franklin and work alongside highly trained nurses and clinical specialists. Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools. Qualifications: Board-certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience. New graduates, residents, and fellows are encouraged to apply. Authorized to work in the United States. Scheduling: Daily coverage includes 12 physician hours. Flexible scheduling for work-life balance. Key Responsibilities: Provide top-quality patient care in an emergency department with 11 ED beds, an average of 12,775 annual visits, and a 4% admission rate. Partner with a robust team of subspecialty professionals and utilize advanced imaging services to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Specialties on call include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, GI, OB/Gyn, and Nephrology Bring your expertise and innovation to foster lasting relationships with our hospital partners. Lead in quality to help our hospital achieve excellence across the ED care experience.
