Unpack and ensure proper placement of received inventory according to storage and/or refrigeration requirements. Accurately gathers medications and supplies according to specifications of non-compounding records. Label prepared non-compounded products. Package and label prepared medication orders, insuring drug related supplies, and education materials are included. Enter prescriptions from intake to order completion and verify member/patient data. Contact patients, pharmacists, and doctor's offices as a liaison for the pharmacy team. Communicate clearly and concisely via phone and electronic methods to patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers. Access, input, and retrieve prescriptions and medical/lab information from computer system. Verify whether medication is reimbursable, and resolve rejected claims. Process prescription refills and interpret supply needs as related to various therapies. Resolve customer issues, ensuring accurate information is provided. Follow all State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures, adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality code of ethics. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word for documentation, data tracking, reporting, and interdisciplinary communication.
