About how many cases per day It varies but we have 15 cases in one day but there is usually 5-7 cases minimum per day. EP We do EP cases. ICD s, Pacemakers, Ablations (A-Flutter, SVT, A-Fib) IR we do not do specials/IR. There is a separate area that does those procedures. We do perform peripheral and neuro cases too. Circulating Our RN s circulate cases and monitor cases. We have 3 people per case, during the day. Circulating RN, Scrub Tech and someone on the monitor. Please ensure they can circulate cases. Monitoring We have a GE MacLab/Combo Lab Hemodynamic Monitoring System. All staff are cross-trained to monitor cases. Scrubbing We have RCIS and RT techs that scrub cases. 8 hr days 0600/0630 start call Call requirement (if call is required, please list out specifics): approximately 10-11 days per month including 1 weekend Cardiac, Peripheral, Neuro & Traumatic embolization patient care. Three days of orientation to the unit; they should be independently doing cases by Thursday or Friday. Start with one day of call that week towards the end of the week with an experienced nurse. We try not to schedule them for call the first weekend, but by the second weekend they should be able to take call. An experienced travel nurse should not need more than this. Please ensure they can circulate cases. Bryan is connected with College Station, TX. The home of Texas A&M so has a college town feel.
