Job Description Job Description: When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: As an Advanced Practice Provider in cardiothoracic (CT) surgery you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You will practice at our CT Surgery Clinic and St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO You will be on a PRN schedule that will be discussed with you upon hire Assist surgeons in performing procedures during surgery Perform Radial Artery and Saphenous vein harvesting Place Foley catheters and invasive lines Discharge Same Day or PACU patients Daily team rounding Clinic responsibilities include new H&P and surgical follow ups Q3 call includes rounding on weekends during call and being first call for the nursing floor How we'll support you: Compensation: Our compensation consists of a base salary plus call pay. The salary is calculated on years of experience and can range from $125,000 - $193,000. We care about your wellbeing which is why we provide our caregivers with a generous benefits package. What you’ll bring: PA or NP degree from a fully accredited program At least 1-2 years of experience as a First Assist PA or NP required – NO NEW GRADS 1 year experience in CT with proven independence in EVH Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one BLS certification and DEA Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process About us: Intermountain Health is a model health system by providing extraordinary care and superior service at an affordable cost.
