Description : This position will work at Cox South Hospital, located in Springfield, Missouri The Trauma Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for providing the overall administration and operation of clinical research trials involving the Trauma Service Line. This position requires knowledge of clinical protocols and good clinical practices, set forth by federal regulations and guidelines. Along with the investigators and the trauma services staff, this position is responsible, as directed by the Trauma Medical Director and the Trauma Program Manager for assisting with the daily activities of collecting, maintaining and organizing study information, files, materials and equipment; scheduling and tracking patient visits; assisting with regulatory submissions; performing data entry and managing the timeliness of data submissions; preparing study materials, e.g., survey and research charts, web-based materials, etc.; updating and maintaining lists of study subjects; respondent mailings; coordinating interview logistics; and maintaining excellent documentation of research decisions and tasks; any additional tasks to support the Trauma Services Department. Must possess strong organizational skills and work in a self-directed team environment.
