*We are seeking a District Contract Security Manager in the State of Hawaii, contingent upon contract award. Covenant Aviation Security has an opening for a District Contract Security Manager (DCSM) located in the State of Hawaii. Responsibilities will include managing armed staff, unarmed staff, and security operations. This position will report to the Contract Security Manager. Location: Responsible for work performed in the following Districts: Oahu District Maui District Hawaii Districts (Ellison Onizka Kona International Airport at Keahole and the Hilo International Airport)) Kauai District Essential Functions Oversees security operations through subordinate staff, who direct the security workforce. Other related duties as assigned by Covenant Management. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or Lawful Permanent Resident. Must be commissioned as a LEO, unless otherwise approved by the State Contract Administrator. Must have at least three (3) years of experience as a supervisor at the middle-management level, no less than Lieutenant in a certified law enforcement organization. Must have or be able to obtain an American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), ACE- Security certification within twelve (12) months of hire. Must be willing to travel to nearby sites as required by contract. Ability to speak, read, write legibly, and understand English. Must be neat, well-groomed, and present a professional appearance.
