Project Engineer
Job Description Job Description TELACU Construction Management is seeking a Project Engineer - Construction to join our team! You will assist in the construction of public works projects working with a Project Manager to plan, schedule, and implementation numerous projects. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public works construction. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation Allocate resources for assigned projects Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications Takes meeting minutes Tracks RFI's, Submittals, Change Orders, As-Builts, etc. Strong field presence Works with the site IOR for QA/QC checks Understands plans and specifications Other duties as assigned Qualifications: B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar Previous experience in construction management or other related fields Familiarity with construction management software Strong leadership qualities Strong negotiation skills Deadline and detail-oriented Company Description TELACU Construction management (TCM) is a wholly owned subsidiary of TELACU Industries, the for-profit arm of TELACU, the nation's largest Community Development Corporation.
