Responsibilities: Repair trucks, trailers, and other equipment Repair and maintain tanker trailers including leak checks, rebuilding valves, and prep for shipments. Ability to assess safety and mechanical issues, then provide solutions or refer them to other team members Perform routine vehicle maintenance Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer Flexibility to perform different tasks from engine work to shop clean up Ability to embrace the challenge of balancing preventive maintenance with addressing equipment failures Your initial work hours will be Monday – Friday 7 am – 5 pm. Qualifications: Previous experience as a diesel mechanic preferred Knowledge of shop equipment Basic welding skills Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Deadline and detail-oriented Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Must be a person with integrity who brings a positive attitude to the office every day. Must be capable of working in beverage cooler conditions. 35-45 degrees Candidate Requirements Previous route delivery, direct store delivery, stocking, merchandising products or retail management experience is preferred. Valid driver’s license for your state of residency and an excellent driving history for the last three years.
