These positions are responsible for set up and operation of Press equipment to customer-supplied specifications while maintaining production by planning and organizing jobs and continuously monitoring quality. Additionally, operators are responsible for cleanliness and keeping press maintained mechanically. Some positions will have direct reports. Responsibilities Also Include Planning and organizing jobs by reviewing schedules and job tickets, identifying priorities, assigning roles, and maintaining production records. Monitoring signature quality by setting and monitoring color, maintaining register, fold, and compensation, and identifying and correcting problems. Setting up/operating equipment by setting up press computers, units, folder, and auxiliary equipment and performing preventative maintenance. Participating in training and teaching, assisting all positions and working with customers and the business plan. Qualifications Successful candidates must meet the following requirements: Experience with the following Offset Press Equipment: Harris, Heidelberg, Goss, and/or Manroland. 2-3 years of previous Press Operator experience, including ability to web up press, be able to match the product to the sample from the customer is required. Strong mechanical aptitude is required. Must have eye/hand coordination when inside the unit while making adjustments. Must have ability to utilize the computer to ensure quality of the product. Ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, stand long hours (8 or 12-hour shift), use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions and use vision in order to identify defects. What You'll Do Accurately select, pack, seal, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment. Produce and apply shipping labels using Quad operating systems. Process outgoing shipments and prepare shipping documentation. Receive incoming shipments and maintain accurate inventory of products and supplies. Communicate inventory shortages to appropriate team members. Partner with manufacturing departments to support product quality and customer requirements. Evaluate products and communicate quality information to internal production teams and business partners. Assist Customer Service with product returns and shipment discrepancies. Performs all post-skidding operations, which may include strapping, banding, wrapping, card-boarding, boxing, baling, weighing and compressing. The Seasonal Production forklift workers assist in meeting production goals and deadlines during times of increased volume. The position offers the opportunity to learn the printing process from the ground up, while working with the industry’s most advanced printing equipment in a clean, well-kept environment. Our Seasonal opportunity is estimated to run from now until 11/14/2026. Shifts and dates of assignments may be rotated and may vary by department. Openings include forklift/material handler. Hours are based on production needs; however, hours consist of 12-hour shifts, days, nights, weekends and holiday as needed. Overtime is required as needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Move product/skids with a hand jack, motorized Raymond (Big Joe) lift or Forklift (training provided) Servicing of press and finishing machines to move product throughout the plant. Maintain accurate inventory of product with the use of an onboard PC and RF bar coding system. Loading and unloading of finished product and materials from semi-trailers and auto-wrapper using a forklift Comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations. Effectively communicate with team members Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Qualifications The successful candidate will have or be able to do the following: Must be at least 18-years of age or older. Strong computer skills preferred. Prior forklift experience highly preferred, but not required. Factory, Manufacturing or other work experience where mechanical or handwork was necessary is preferred, such as laborer, machinist, assembly, bindery, mechanic, warehouse etc. Printing, Finishing (Bindery) or Warehouse experience is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to read, understand and follow both written and verbal instructions. Good math skills The ability to use repetitive hand/wrist movement. Ability to multi-task and prioritize job need. Ability to be a team player in a fast paced, detail orientated production environment. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. You will be asked to follow a shift: (3 on 4 off, 4 on 3 off) will be both days and nights throughout the year, we will explain this during interview process. 12 hours shift 7 to 7. Strong mechanical aptitude is required. Must have eye/hand coordination when inside the unit while making adjustments. Must have ability to utilize the computer to ensure quality of the product. Ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, stand long hours (8 or 12-hour shift), use hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement, receive and follow instructions and use vision in order to identify defects.
