Key Responsibilities Lead Accounting Operations Lead all aspects of the accounting function, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, fixed assets, revenue accounting, and month-end close. Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities while improving consistency, quality, and efficiency. Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Build Operational Excellence Evaluate current accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Design and implement standardized processes that create consistency across the accounting organization. Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues that impact customers, billing, invoicing, collections, and financial reporting. Improve the quality and reliability of accounting data through better workflows, documentation, and system utilization. Strengthen Systems and Controls Optimize the use of existing financial systems and identify opportunities for automation. Develop appropriate controls that reduce risk while enabling efficient operations. Ensure accounting processes support a positive experience for customers and internal business partners. Lead efforts to improve billing and invoicing accuracy, helping reduce customer friction and operational rework. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred. 10 years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including experience leading accounting teams within a private equity environment preferred. Experience in software, SaaS, healthcare technology, healthcare services, or other complex, multi-entity environments preferred. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition, and internal controls. Demonstrated success improving accounting operations, implementing standardized processes, and strengthening financial controls. Experience leading Netsuite ERP or accounting system improvements preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills. Ability to balance strategic priorities with a willingness to be hands-on when needed. Ownership of PCAOB audit process and completion.
