The CVOR at Mission Hospital in Asheville is a fast paced, efficient operating room. One of the busiest in the Southeast and performs the most surgeries, per surgeon, of any hospital in the state. It is a 6-room operating suite (included in that is 1 Hybrid room) with four surgeons operating. We perform Open-Heart procedures such as; CABG, Aortic Valve Replacement, Mitral Valve Repair/Replace, Tricuspid Valve Repair, Dissections, Tavr's, etc. We also perform Thoracic Surgeries (Lung). We do not perform transplants, robotic, or pediatric surgery.
