Maintain adequate stock levels of high-volume kits by ensuring at least one pallet of each frequently sold kit is available for sales representatives. Obtain products and materials needed for scheduled projects using an electric stand-up forklift or pallet jack. Operate shrink-wrap machinery to assemble and package kits containing two to five products per kit. Package, palletize, and organize completed kits for allocation to sales representatives or warehouse inventory. Perform weekly cycle counts of kit inventory and maintain accurate inventory records. Assist with inventory counts and warehouse auditing activities at the Anaheim facility. Support Mold Release Wax production and packaging operations, including placement of sponges, caps, and other packaging components when needed. Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot box-printing equipment for various product SKUs. Print miscellaneous labels and documentation as requested by warehouse and production staff. Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and obstruction-free work area. We provide batteries and stored energy solutions to customers in support of critical infrastructure, emergency services and first responders, public transportation, automotive and commercial trucking fleets, industrial facilities and hospitals, and remote backup power needs. Our Warehouse /Service Drivers represent our company and serve our customers safely and professionally, reporting to the Warehouse Manager. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Driving and Warehouse Transport new batteries and spent cores in strict and diligent compliance with all USDOT regulations and in accordance with dispatch instructions Complete all deliveries while meeting all professional expectations every day Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Properly document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks safely and efficiently into loading or unloading positions, at all times respectful of the property of our customer and others Safely operate electric and manual pallet jacks and lift gates Must have forklift experience as well for loading at distribution warehouses and customer sites as required Immediately report defects, accidents, and violations Load/unload truck at beginning/end of day as needed and complete all required end-of-day activities thoroughly and accurately. You will be proactive in communicating with customers, always asking for cores, always asking what else you/we can do for them before moving on to the next delivery. You will take every opportunity during customer deliveries to observe product the customer may have on hand from other suppliers and engage with customers to ascertain whether we may be able to supply them. In the course of your daily business, you’ll see opportunities for new business and communicate leads to the sales team You will maintain a clean and neat appearance, and be professional and courteous at all times Our customers’ success depends on your follow up to what you see. Strong customer service skills At least 1 year of driving Box Truck and delivery experience. Meet Northeast Battery MVR and risk rating qualifications. Batteries are heavy. Safely lift and move products and pallets which may weigh up to 75 pounds. No more than 2 Moving Violations in the past 3 years. No DUIs in the past 7 years. Must be able to get a minimum of 1-year Medical Certificate. Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, XRS, etc.).
