The virtual nurse will assist with tasks such completing the admission, care plan development and maintenance, patient education, medication and discharge teaching, care coordination, mentoring of new nurses, and implementation of evidence-based care. The virtual eICU nurse assists the primary bedside nurse with nursing tasks not required to be done in person as well as real-time quality and patient safety surveillance. The eICU Virtual nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients. Job Summary The Internal Agency Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates and treats patient in acute, post-acute, and outpatient settings throughout CoxHealth facilities. The PT treats patients of all ages as ordered. PT staff assist patients to reach their highest level of functioning and make recommendations for the next level of care. The physical therapist plans and implements prevention, habilitation, and/or rehabilitation services including mobility devices, counseling and orientation for mobility, pain relief, increasing strength, and improving or correcting disabling conditions.
