Job Description Shift 12-Hour Rotating Shift Description Operate and monitor the wastewater treatment system. Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections. Clear blockages, clean screens, and maintain proper flow through the system. Diagnose and fix low voltage equipment, D.O. probes, Ph. meters, Level transducers, etc. Repair equipment as necessary. Graham Electric has been providing quality and expertise for commercial electrical installation, repairs, site lighting, and design-build installation Responsibilities and Duties - Service Technician The purpose of this position is to install, diagnose and repair electrical systems in new and existing buildings, in commercial settings. This position will work at the direction of the service manager and is expected to require minimal oversight and guidance. Tasks which are expected to be performed include but are not limited to; • Ensure safe work practices and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel • Diagnose simple and complex electrical issues and facilitate the repairs necessary to place electrical equipment in a safe, working condition or remove from service • Utilize all assigned PPE as appropriate for the hazards encountered • Interpret and understand wiring schematics and job drawings to facilitate repair and installation of electrical system components • Ability to plan work, obtain the proper materials and execute repairs and installation in a timely and professional manner that is compliant with the NEC and all regulatory requirements • Ability to work in enclosed areas, at grade level, elevated heights from ladders and lifts or in ditches as needed • Experience measuring, bending, threading and installing electrical conduit to include MC, EMT, ridged raceways and PVC. • Capable of terminating panels, setting fixtures, installing devices, installing cable tray • Must be well organized, able to work efficiently and demonstrate good time management skills • Ensure special equipment needs are communicated to the Service Manager • Ability to establish material list and ensure material needs are communicated to the Service Manager • Ability to achieve the weekly benchmark objectives established by the Service Manager • Maintain a positive work environment which promotes a culture of safety and open communication • Maintain a personal tool cache including hand tools, drill, drivers and all necessary attachments Qualifications - Service Technician This person should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience completing project installation and repairs of electrical systems in the commercial electrical industry settings. Experience working in the field completing assigned tasks and functions. Experience with trade inspections, dealing with various jurisdictions and inspectors are all areas which will benefit from experience. Associated trade certifications are beneficial but are not required for this position. Physical requirements This position should be able to sit, bend, stoop and lift items not to exceed 50 pounds. This position should also be able to climb, crawl and squat as the job demands.
