Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students to identify emotional, social, and financial needs, collaborating closely with school staff to ensure holistic support. \n Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on issues such as adjustment difficulties, grief, anxiety, coping strategies, and conflict resolution. \n Coordinate with local community organizations to facilitate post-discharge services, ensuring continuity of care and connecting families with essential resources. \n Develop, implement, and monitor discharge plans tailored to students' needs, ensuring they receive adequate follow-up support. \n Participate in student support teams and committees, lending your expertise in social work to enhance overall student health initiatives. \n Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions, evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with legal and organizational standards. \n Provide crisis intervention services as needed and develop strategies to mitigate crisis situations in the school setting. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The primary client focus for this role is students ranging from elementary to high school within a diverse educational environment. You will be working with individuals who may face a variety of challenges, such as behavioral issues, mental health concerns, family dynamics, and socio-economic challenges. Understanding and addressing these complexities is crucial in driving positive student outcomes. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. \n Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee. \n Proficient understanding of mental health disorders, child and adolescent development, and crisis intervention methods. \n Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building rapport with students, families, and school staff. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Two or more years of experience in a healthcare setting, particularly within a school or educational environment. \n Experience in providing counseling to children and adolescents dealing with mental health and social issues. \n Familiarity with community resources and services available for families in need. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
