We’re looking for a passionate, curious, and driven News Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. As part of a forward-thinking media organization, you won’t just observe—you’ll actively contribute to the storytelling that informs and connects our community across platforms. From breaking news to digital-first storytelling, this is your opportunity to experience what modern journalism really looks like. What You’ll Do This is a fast-paced, real newsroom—no two days are the same. Create & Contribute: Assist in researching, writing, and producing news stories for broadcast and digital platforms Be Where the Action Is: Work alongside reporters, anchors, producers, and photographers—both in the newsroom and out in the field Pitch Ideas: Bring fresh story ideas to the table and help shape coverage that matters to our audience Get Hands-On: Learn how to shoot video, frame compelling visuals, and understand what makes a story stand out Behind the Scenes: Gain exposure to control room operations and how live broadcasts come together in real time What You’ll Gain This internship is designed to build real skills—not just fill a line on your résumé. Registered Nurse - Acute Orthopedics - Part Time

Description Summary: The competent Nurse, in the same or similar clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to on long-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing. Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as a means to help manage the clinical situation. Responsibilities: Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. Consistent with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients. Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient and families in accordance with their level of practice. Using the appropriate protocol, administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed. Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given. Assess learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers; identify issues and resources.
