The Nurse Manager Ambulatory provides clinical and operational leadership for nursing and patient care services in our cardiology ambulatory clinic. JOB DUTIES: Provide leadership, oversight, and accountability for all clinic practice in the assigned ambulatory clinic(s), ensuring evidence-based standards of care. Partner with operational leaders to align staffing models, workflows, and clinical processes that optimize patient flow, access, and quality outcomes. Supervise and evaluate all clinic staff, including administrative, nurses, medical assistants, and other licensed/unlicensed personnel; ensure competency, performance, and professional development. Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and infection prevention standards. Collaborate with physician and APP leaders to support clinical care delivery, patient safety initiatives, and service recovery. Participate in the development and monitoring of clinic budgets, including labor and supply costs; identify cost-containment opportunities. Lead quality improvement and population health initiatives, using data to track progress and implement corrective actions as needed. Support onboarding, orientation, and training for new administrative staff, and ensure ongoing development for existing team members. Serve as a resource and liaison for patients, staff, and providers regarding nursing and operational concerns, escalating as appropriate to Practice Administrator or Ambulatory Operations Director. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. Job Eligibility Requirements: Work requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with a BSN degree. Minimum of three years of nursing experience with at least three years of leadership experience required. Experience in ambulatory or outpatient clinic operations preferred. BLS required. Job Description Emergency Medicine opportunity in Caribou, ME 200m from Bangor, ME, 15m from Canadian Boarder Seeking two full-time Emergency Room Physicians. The newly renovated, 24-hour ED sees about 19,000 visits per year, including the Walk-In Clinic. The ED is a Level II trauma center, and sees a wide variety of cases; however, head and neck cases are transported to a tertiary center. The physicians and nursing staff are specially trained in emergency medicine. The department has one trauma room and 11 exam rooms; two Walk-In Care rooms with easy access to all diagnostic testing needs. Although patients are seen in order of severity of illness, a PA or Nurse Practitioner in the Walk-In Clinic may see patients with less urgent needs. Benefits Details - $600/year for licensing and subscriptions for their practice - Six weeks for vacation, CME, sick and holiday time - CME of up to $2,500 per year and - Relocation assistance. - Education loan repayment is paid in six-month increments and is typically spread out over five years. Our largest patient transfers consist of psychiatric, trauma, neurosurgical, and emergency cardiac catheterizations. We utilize the services of a fixed-wing air ambulance service with a 40-minute in-air time to Bangor, Maine, location of the nearest Level 1 Trauma Center and Cardiac Cath Lab.The ER physicians are employees of the hospital and will be paid on an hourly basis, negotiable based on experience. The hospital will pay a portion of the health insurance for the physician and will pay the full amount of malpractice insurance.
