Job Description Cardiac Hospitalist opening in New YorkLocated in Albany, NYFull-time; Permanent Overview: Full-time inpatient Cardiac Hospitalist position within a high-volume, cardiology-focused service Work exclusively in cardiac hospital medicine—no outpatient responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient management of acute cardiac conditions, including heart failure, arrhythmias, acute coronary syndromes (ACS), and post?procedural cardiac care Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and care coordinators Flexible schedule with a competitive call structure designed to support work–life balance Provide comprehensive inpatient care for cardiology patients Perform admissions, daily rounding, and discharge planning Coordinate care with interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgery teams Interpret cardiac diagnostics including EKGs, telemetry, and echocardiograms Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case reviews Position Offers: Base Salary is $600,000 per year Year 2- Cardiologist has opportunity to join Pool Model where RVU and Quality Incentive Models are shared among pool members. Entry into Pool model requires annual RVU threshold.* The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer.
