Position Overview and Qualifications As a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional, patient-focused care that aligns with departmental requirements and the standards of practice for your specialty and state. Working closely with healthcare providers and the care team, you will deliver tailored, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing frameworks such as ‘Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.’ Additionally, you will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure a superior patient experience and positive clinical results. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate the patient’s condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, swiftly identifying and reporting any changes in their status. Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient’s medical records. Administer prescribed medications, observe the patient for therapeutic responses, and take appropriate actions in case of any adverse reactions. Deliver outstanding care by promptly addressing patient requests, anticipating their needs, and resolving issues proactively. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, ensuring clarity by simplifying complex medical terminology. Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within one year of starting employment. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be secured within 30 days of employment commencement. Registered Nurse (RN) license. Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
