Qualifications\n \n A valid license to practice as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R) in the state of New York. \n A master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related mental health field. \n Strong understanding of the complexities surrounding substance use disorders and a commitment to recovery-oriented practices. \n Proven experience delivering therapy (both individual and group) specifically aimed at addiction recovery. \n Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills to effectively connect with clients and build therapeutic relationships. \n A compassionate and empathetic approach that respects client confidentiality and promotes a sense of safety. \n Preferred Experience\n \n At least 2 years of experience working directly with individuals in substance use treatment settings. \n Familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). \n A track record of effectively managing cases in a clinical environment, demonstrating the ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse client needs. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, with opportunities for bonuses based on performance.
