Key Responsibilities\n \n Deliver individual and group therapy to clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. \n Conduct thorough mental health assessments and intake evaluations to establish an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan tailored to each client’s needs. \n Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused therapy, to facilitate positive client outcomes. \n Collaborate with clients to establish empowerment strategies, setting achievable goals that promote their personal growth and well-being. \n Respond promptly to clients in crisis, providing immediate support and intervention while fostering a safe therapeutic environment. \n Maintain comprehensive and confidential clinical records in accordance with state regulations, ethical guidelines, and organizational protocols. \n Engage in team meetings with fellow counselors and mental health professionals to discuss cases and develop coordinated care strategies for clients. \n Participate in ongoing professional development activities and provide mentorship to interns or newer counselors when possible. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your role will primarily focus on outpatient clients who may be facing a diverse range of mental health concerns. This includes adults dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, personal trauma, grief, and stress management. You will also have the opportunity to work with couples navigating relationship challenges and adolescents facing unique developmental hurdles. Our diverse client base allows you to apply your specific expertise creatively and compassionately. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited program. \n A valid, unrestricted state license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia. \n At least 2 years of relevant experience providing therapeutic services in an outpatient or clinical setting. \n Strong clinical assessment abilities, including competency in formulating effective, individualized treatment plans. \n Proficient in a variety of therapeutic approaches, considering individual client preferences and treatment goals. \n Understanding of ethical principles, confidentiality laws, and commitment to best practices in mental health counseling. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience in specialty areas such as trauma-informed care, grief counseling, adolescent therapy, or couples therapy is highly desirable. \n Familiarity with telehealth platforms and tools for virtual therapy sessions. \n Skills in integrating cultural sensitivity into practice, appreciating the varied backgrounds and identities of clients. \n Compensation and Benefits\n We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000, along with performance-based incentives.
