It is well known for the National Mall and its historic landmarks, but there is so much more to life in the DMV. The region also has renowned theaters and performance venues, professional sports teams, award-winning dining options, and gorgeous parks and recreation areas nestled in and adjacent to the city, where residents can enjoy the outdoors. And, being an area with three major airports, coupled with its location that is just a few hours from the beaches of Maryland and Delaware, the Shenandoah Mountains or New York City, all types of experiences are within reach. From the charming neighborhoods of Georgetown and Capitol Hill, to the vibrant and thriving communities in the suburbs of Maryland and Northern Virginia, there are many wonderful communities of people and families who call the DMV home. These communities are served by world-class educational institutions, including some of the nation s leading public and private schools and universities. Simply put, the DMV is a place where history, opportunity, and community converge to make it one of the most dynamic and desirable places to live in the nation. Interested? Want to learn more?
