Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health issues, formulate clinical diagnoses, and develop tailored treatment plans that align with client goals. \n Utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and other modalities, to provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions. \n Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress, ensuring their immediate safety and facilitating crisis stabilization. \n Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, encompassing treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment findings, in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards. \n Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to deliver holistic care and improve client outcomes. \n Educate clients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and local community resources. Act as a staunch advocate for clients' rights and needs. \n Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of best practices in mental health therapy. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n This position involves working with a broad patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and behavioral disorders. You will be expected to approach each client with cultural competency and a genuine understanding of their unique experiences. Qualifications\n \n Currently licensed as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Georgia. \n A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required. \n Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. \n A minimum of two years of direct mental health counseling experience is necessary. \n Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on building therapeutic rapport. \n Demonstrated ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment. \n A steadfast commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards vital to patient care. \n Preferred Experience\n \n While previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, entry-level candidates with strong training backgrounds will also be considered. \n Experience with diverse therapeutic modalities and familiarity with EMR systems can allow for a more effective therapy process. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The salary for this role ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
