About The Clinician Investigator for Addiction Medicine Position The Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin is seeking an exceptional physician to join the Department of Internal Medicine as a clinician-investigator for Addiction Medicine who is committed to providing healthcare services to patients in need of addiction and/or substance use related care. Development of a strong health services research program is essential for meeting the goals of Dell Medical School. The clinician-investigator position will be primarily focused on additional medicine research and efforts to push the boundaries of medicine to transform patient care. The program works in parallel with the pediatric epilepsy program at Dell Children's Medical Center (DCMC), which has a separate NAEC level 4 epilepsy monitoring unit staffed by seven pediatric epileptologists and two neurosurgeons.
