Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,192 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: March 30, 2026 Location: Asheville, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, alternating weekends Highlights: Cardiovascular ICU with 16 beds and 2:1 or 1:1 patient ratios based on acuity Advanced cardiac technologies including ECMO, LVAD, IABP, Impella, CRRT, and hypothermia devices Experience with ventilators, intra-aortic balloon pumps, telemetry, PA catheters, and hemodynamic monitoring Cerner documentation system with comprehensive orientation provided Exposure to specialized procedures including cardioversion, central line insertion, chest tube management, and more Opportunity to work with experienced staff in a high-acuity critical care environment Requirements: Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state ICU experience required with strong cardiovascular critical care background Proficiency in titration of vasoactive medications, pressors, sedation, and paralytics Experience with ventilators, trachs, telemetry interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring Understanding of PA catheter setup and interpretation CCRN certification recommended; IABP, Impella, and CRRT experience highly desirable Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a specialized cardiovascular ICU where you'll utilize advanced critical care skills and cutting-edge cardiac technology daily.
