EDI Claims Filing Specialist

Entry-Level Glaze Wipe / hand sanding

Nesco Resource is in search of hiring entry-level glaze wiper/hand sanding associates to support our finishing department in a furniture manufacturing environment. This role involves hand sanding and wiping glaze to prepare and enhance the final appearance of furniture pieces. Hours: 6:30a - 3:30p Monday - Friday Starting pay: $16.00 - performance raises after the first couple of months if you are learning quickly and production is good. Responsibilities: Hand sand furniture to smooth surfaces and prepare for finishing Apply and wipe glaze to achieve desired color and finish Inspect products for quality and consistency Follow production and safety guidelines Yes, some training will be provided. It is a fairly simple job a glaze wiper will be wiping the furniture piece down after the glaze spray run with a rag. A hand sander will be sanded when the piece of the spray has been applied . It could be lacquer, paint, stain, sealer, etc. you are sanding it smoothly for the next spray. These two positions are interchangeable one day you may be wiping and the next sanding, or you may be wiping/sanding all week. This is a M-F position 6:30a-3p. Sometimes off on Friday depending on the workload.
