Electrical Journeyman SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Structured Cabling Fiber Splicer that will be responsible for providing skilled craftsmanship for maintenance and installation of low voltage electrical systems. RESPONSIBILITIES Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools Complete physical installations of structured cabling components, cabinets, pathway systems (cable tray), move equipment, racks, and related communications infrastructure materials. Perform precise fusion splicing of high strand count fiber optic cables (including mass fusion techniques) While maintaining low loss performance and industry standard quality control.
