Description POSITION SUMMARY: Serves as communication center for nursing unit. Responsible for the completion of work in all areas of business pertaining to the functioning and operation of the nursing unit. This includes facilitating communication for the unit, processing of patient medical records, transcribing of physician orders, data entry and retrieval via utilization of various hospital information systems, completion of the departmental reports and log books, organization of the unit work area and support to the operations of patient care services, and maintaining stock level of routine supplies.
